Mark catch and release
Load a clip and tag 1st catch, release, and 2nd catch at the bag. Pop time and exchange drop out of those frames — to second or third.
Baseball & softball catchers
POPtime turns game film into pop and exchange numbers you can trust — then exports the overlay for coaches and recruiting.

What it does
Load a clip and tag 1st catch, release, and 2nd catch at the bag. Pop time and exchange drop out of those frames — to second or third.
Scrub every frame, including high-fps film up to 240. The export keeps the original frame rate.
When the catcher’s back is to the camera, use the waveform to mark pitch reception you cannot see.
Save the marked video with pop and exchange burned in. Overlay position is customizable. Screen stays awake until the file is written.
Glove trajectory and a strike-zone overlay so you can break down every catch, not just the throw down.
A dedicated pitcher mode plus velo from the same clip — no radar gun.
Pro users can mark footwork on the throw down, not only hands and pop.
A separate subscription tier with extra overlay controls for coaches working a roster.
How it works
01
POPtime only sees the video you choose. No full photo-library access. Export asks for add-only permission.
02
Catch. Release. Optional 2nd catch at the bag. Scroll frames or use the waveform when the glove is hidden.
03
Pop time, exchange, overlay export. Same numbers on every replay.
From the cage
“We absolutely love this app. We can break down all our catchers pop times and release points. It helps them see and know what they need to improve to generate a quicker pop time. It’s super accurate and easy to use.”
“Use this all the time for all our catchers. Let’s them know where they’re at. Awesome app. Definitely recommend it!”
“I downloaded this app to work with my son and the catchers on his team. It is a great resource, easy to operate, and with the ability to mark different points it allows players to see when they are losing time.”
iOS and Android. Mark film in the app, then send the overlay out. If something breaks, file it here.
